Why an implant
The closest thing to getting the tooth back
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone where the root used to be. Over the next few months the bone grows around it and locks it in, which is what makes it strong enough to chew on normally.
Once it has healed, a crown goes on top. It looks like a tooth, you brush it like a tooth, and unlike a bridge, the healthy teeth on either side are left alone.

Yes. Your implant consultation with Dr. Gupta costs nothing, and there's no obligation to go ahead with anything.

Can my tooth be saved, or does it need to come out?
It depends on how much healthy tooth and root is left. Many broken or painful teeth can be saved with a crown or a root canal. Dr. Gupta will tell you honestly which it is at your visit.
What is a dental implant?
A small titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth, topped with a crown that looks and works like a natural tooth.
What does robot-guided mean?
Dr. Gupta plans your implant on a 3D scan first. During placement, Yomi, a robotic guidance system, helps keep the implant on that exact plan. Dr. Gupta is in control the whole time.
Is an implant better than a bridge?
A bridge relies on reshaping the healthy teeth on either side. An implant stands on its own and leaves those teeth alone. Dr. Gupta will go over which makes sense for you.
How long does an implant take?
The implant is placed in one visit. The bone then heals around it for a few months before the permanent crown goes on. You'll get a timeline for your case at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
Dr. Gupta will talk you through numbing and comfort options before anything begins. Most people are surprised how manageable it is.
Do you take my insurance? Can I make payments?
